Minerals

A number of varieties of Minerals have been discovered in the Realm of the Roses; described here are the known varieties.

As a study of Natural History, they are being documented and catalogued in a collaboration of the Caledon Library and the Royal Society for the Advancement of Knowledge in the Natural Sciences with the residents of Caledon, Winterfell, Lovelace and Brythony.

Note from June 2009 - After enthusiastic mining by Caledon residents, most of the old mineral fields have been tapped out. Thanks to the latest scientific instruments provided by the East Avarian Company, many new mineral veins have been discovered. While unable to produce any sorts of maps due to techonological difficulties, veins can be discovered by the diligent miner in both Caledon and Avaria.
